Our goal in developing this formula was to obtain a good light/senior nutrition, without compromises or without having to deviate from our vision and the principles for which we stand.
And of course without sacrificing quality or palatability.
We thus maintain the good relationship between the natural ingredients and the high-quality animal protein source, but have deliberately opted for an adapted lower protein and fat content.
This should help to reduce the intake of calories and still make sure that your beloved four-legged friend gets everything he needs.
To support the joints we have opted for green-lipped mussel, which is an excellent source of glucosamine and chondroitin.
Beef Senior/Light is tasty and easy digestible. It has, as all our formulas, good absorption and acceptance and contains only natural antioxidants.
The stool is pretty hard and good and the amount is small.
We have chosen beef as the sole source of protein, rich in vitamin B, iron, zinc, selenium and omega fatty acids.
Unlike Beef Royale, Beef Senior/Light is only suitable for overweight dogs or dogs with a greatly reduced activity level. The active ingredients chondroitin and glucosamine from the green-lipped mussel contribute to the mobility during the aging process by supporting the joints.
Thermally pre-treated brown rice is, as is known, light and very digestible, and an important component in this formula. This rice is rich in thiamine, also known as B1. Thiamine is essential for the metabolism, the functioning of the heart, muscles and nervous system. Vitamin B6 is important for resistance and plays a role in the formation and development of blood cells. Rice also contains biotin, which provides shiny hair and a beautiful skin. The protein in brown rice is of good quality as it contains the essential amino acids.
The non-genetically modified maize in this formula contains useful minerals such as potassium, sodium, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus and manganese.

The non-GMO wheat also provides vitamins and minerals and stimulates the bowel function. It provides the necessary carbohydrates together with the rice and maize.
