The MINI range consists of the MINI Salmon Delight and the MINI Suprême Chicken & BW.
It is identical in composition and properties to its big brothers Salmon Delight and Suprême Chicken & BW.
However, the grain is a lot smaller, namely the same size as the puppy small chunk. The size of the chunk has been specially adapted so that the Small & Mini breeds up to about 10 kg adult weight can easily eat them.
All our chunks are soft and can actually be eaten by all dog breeds, but we are happy to respond to the demand from many customers to also release FAUNUS in small format
Supreme Chicken & BW is a very sophisticated and truly nutritious diet for dogs of all breeds that is highly digestible. It is also a very tasty food. Your dog should consequently eat little in order to easily meet his Supreme Chicken & BW daily needs. It is suitable for dogs with all levels of activity, one just needs to adjust the amount of food to the energy needs of the dog.
Even dogs with sensitive intestines have a nice and hard stool with this diet. The amount is small because there is a high degree of acceptance and digestibility.
At Faunus we consciously choose to work with a not to high protein content, because it is not really necessary for optimal health of the dog. High protein levels can actually increase the chance of sensitivity and allergy. It is very important, however, to ensure that the protein sources are of high quality and have a high biological value. It is also very important to work with really pure and good fats. That’s why we always opt for pure beef fat.
Supreme Chicken & BW contains chicken as first ingredient, which is a high-quality and easy to absorb protein source. Together with the pure beef fat, the haemoglobin powder and the eggs, this is a formula with a very high percentage of protein of animal origin.
What distinguishes Supreme Chicken & BW from most other foods is the presence of a large amount of buckwheat. Buckwheat has a lot of positive characteristics, which will certainly benefit your dog’s health. It contains all 8 essential amino acids! (Essential amino acids are building blocks for protein in the body cells that the body itself cannot produce). It gives a feeling of satiety for a long time and strengthens the blood vessels. Buckwheat also contains vitamin B, magnesium copper, potassium, phosphorus, flavonoids and natural antioxidants.
The oatmeal in this formula contains beta glucan, a soluble fibre that quickly gives satiety.
The carob flour contains polyphenols that are powerful antioxidants that protect the body of the dog from damage caused by free radicals and toxins. It is also rich in calcium which keeps the bones strong and selenium that protects the body against infections.
The haemoglobin powder provides a strong resistance.
The pure salmon oil makes the coat of your dog shine like a mirror.
Inulin improves the absorption of magnesium and calcium and has a beneficial effect on intestinal health and digestion.
Chicken & BW is an exceptional dog food ! Recommended ! We recommend to put young dogs from 6 months on this diet, because many puppy foods are far too rich, and therefore too stressful for the growing skeleton of the dog.
